Start by making a list of your negative thoughts transformed by new declarations.

I am a winner.

 

 

I don’t deserve to be here.

 

 

I belong here.

 

 

I am a klutz.

 

 

I am smooth and powerful.

 

 

I choke and mess up.

 

 

I take risks and play my best.

 

 

What if I blow it?

 

 

It’s OK to make mistakes—this is a learning experience.

 

 

I don’t want to let my coach or parents down.

 

 

My coach believes in me; I believe in myself.

 

 

I am stupid.
