Tip #35 It’s never too early to start visualizing.

Even young kids can benefit from visualization. Young or older, the key is to practice DAILY—at home or at your sports activity.  Improve your vision.

  • Visualize lots of detail: color, size, shape, form. The more detail, the more real the experience seems (See It).
  • Include other sensory systems, especially hearing and touching/feeling—even the smell of the surroundings.
  • Include movement and body motion (running, walking, jumping).
  • Imagine specific action sequences.
  • Envision alternatives—if you falter, how do you recover?
