Excellent lectures were presented at the symposium. Numerous professionals (MDs, PhDs, OTs, ODs) presented research, testing and therapy information.
The parent network for children with sensory processing disorder (SPD) is unbelievably strong and powerful! It was a pleasure meeting many of those parents. Hats off to them and their mission!
My lecture, on Collaboration of Vision Therapy & Occupational Therapy, was attended by approximately 125 (parents, OTs and teachers). There were great questions and too little time for discussions. Excellent interest in both See It. Say It. Do It! and See It. Say It. Do It! ORGANIZE IT!
Dr. Lucy Miller, the founder and leader in this meeting deserves acknowledgement and honor for her dedication and passion to helping kids with SPD.
