Dr. Susan Barry – Learning to See 3D after Strabismus Surgery

Great video from NOVA’s Secret Life of Scientists and Engineers.  Dr. Susan Barry, neuro-scientist, explain how she develops 3D vision at age 48!  Yes, she struggled with crossed eyes from surgeries, eye muscle surgeries, difficulty reading, poor eye-hand-body coordination.

Yet Dr. Barry has overcome many of these obstacles.  Besides changing her brain..her life, her passion is to study what other types of therapy, like vision therapy, might help other neurologic problems.

It’s a treat to watch this video, very inspiring!
