YOU all have touched my life in so many ways. I am grateful and thankful for the joy, happiness and blessings that you bring to my life. As the year 2022 comes to an end, consider giving yourself the gift of gratitude. Find at least 5 things that you are grateful for that have allowed you to become who you are!
As I reviewed my 2022 year, it was clear to me that my life is so full of love, joy and I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams! Here are just a few of my insights as to what I am truly grateful for:
My beautiful family
My grandkids
My office staff
My friends and colleagues
My professional accomplishments
My new podcast
I invite you to take the opportunity for a few moments out of your busy schedule to “re-view” your past year. Close your eyes and focus on your breath as you breathe in and out. Continue breathing in fresh clean air and exhaling any tension or tightness. Now gently allow your imagination to create a “movie” of your life over this past year. Re-wind your “movie” and watch it again from the beginning. Observe all the wonderful events and opportunities that you were able to experience. See all the people and things in your life for which you are grateful—no matter how small or simple. See…feel…observe. Review your movie as long as you’d like. When you have completed this, allow your eyes to gently open. You might want to write a few thoughts or insights on a notepad. Consider spending a few moments during this Holiday Season with your friends & family to:
- See It! – visualize your special experiences in your life
- Say It! – declare who you are in your truest self
- Do It! – take action. Write 2 things down as to what you will do to be and live the life that you have declared.
- Ta-Dah! – Enjoy your life’s journey and celebrate the transformations in your life.
I continue to be filled with gratitude and love. It is you, my family, friends, patients and colleagues, who have taught me and energized my creation of the model by which I live my life — See It. Say It. Do It! (Visualize. Declare. Take action). Through this model, Ta-Dahs are created; the transformations in our lives.
I wish each of you a very happy holiday. Enjoy the Ta-Dahs! – Enjoy your life’s journey and celebrate the transformations in your life.
Please send me your insights of what you are grateful for on your journey of transformation.
With love and gratitude,
Lynn Fishman Hellerstein, O.D., FCOVD, FAAO
