This video is about a 106 yr. old woman, Alice, who survived the Holocaust…music was her nourishment. She was a well-known concert pianist in Prague, who was deported in 1942 to a Nazi Concentration Camp.
Under constant threat of extermination, Alice was allowed to perform her music. As her friend stated, “Put something in your head and it is something NOBODY can take away from you.” Even with the horrendous happenings in the Holocaust, Alice states that she has never hated. “Hatred only breads hatred.”
We all can learn from her beautiful lessons.
Alice so beautifully demonstrated how her passion kept her alive, motivated and still makes her happy.
