Could This Experience Focus Your Personal Vision?

We all have them, those unrealized visions of what we’d like to do or be. Are you up for a little “visioneering” right now? Close your eyes and give a moment of attention to the biggie, the one unrealized vision you have that’s most compelling or simmering on the back burner (what verb or image fits your vision?).

What comes up? Starting your own business? Making the big breakthrough in your field? Dream-list stuff like learning another language, running a marathon, or running the show?

Whatever your vision, I invite all amazing women—and I’m pretty sure all are— to slide that simmering vision off the back burner and make it a hotspot on your calendar. Make a date, destination Vail, Colorado, October 4-6, 2013, for Camp Experience™, an educational retreat for amazing women. Write it. Declare it. Do it!

What does it take to make a vision a reality? If you’ve read my books, you’ll spot a few of my techniques in this blog. But I’m also very big on getting a little help from your friends and making new ones. Add inspiring ideas, health, creativity, networking with kindred spirits, and you’ve got the idea of Camp Experience™. I’ve been a keynote speaker in the past, and my practice, Hellerstein and Brenner, is proud to be a promotional sponsor.

From the website:

“CampExperience™ has a schedule full of keynote presentations,
workshops, networking activities, “Bow-tique” shopping, spa services,
and amazing adventures. Workshops include topics such as leadership, success skills, creative thinking, and optimum health. . . . Since 2007, ‘Camp sisters’ have raised over $250,000 of cash and in-kind services for our women’s charities.”

CampExperience™ is a little bit Girl Scouts for grownups, casual corporate retreat, quilting bee, and whole lot of spirited fun that also benefits great charities like Dress for Success.

In its 8th year, the event theme this year is “infinite possibilities.” If you’re in the Denver area, pre-camp events are ongoing now and include monthly networking. In May, a mini-camp in Golden, Colorado, focuses on health, movement, and beauty, plus wisdom from the amazing Nancy Saltzman, author of Radical Survivor.

Of course, amazing women aren’t putting their visions on hold until October. The possibilities for starting right now already seem infinite. Just close your eyes—and see it!
